“…In recent years, I have been attempting to recapture the unbridled imagination of my youth, becoming re-inspired by the iconic creatures and themes of the stories in those memo pads. There is often an undercurrent of darkness in my images, which may be perceived as a cynicism borne of adulthood; however, there are many dark themes in my childhood art as well. I believe that expression of life experience is ageless…”
