Lynn Moore uses color and composition like a woman possessed with the wisdom of someone who has been there and back. It doesn’t matter how or why she traveled a path to gain that gift when you view her art and photography-- at least at first-- because once you see for yourself the powerful yet gentle use of color and shape, motion and stillness, you will be immersed in her poetry of thought and feeling. Make no mistake. Lynn Moore does not fail to put herself out there for the sake of self-expression, and you won’t have to look further than her descriptions of each fascinating image, to know for sure, that Lynn is all about reaching out.
In Lynn Moore's Own Words “I am a psychotherapist/parent coach/artist/writer/singer, not necessarily in that order. Right now I am especially passionate about the first three. I love abstract painting with some texture, and the unpredictability of watercolor on Yupo. I use some acrylics and love working with textures. My main artist influences are Mary Ann Beckwith and Maxine Masterfield…”
